Why was a reservation not synced to Rentals United?
Reservations are synchronized to Rentals United almost in real time. If your reservation does not synchronize from the sales channels to Rentals United immediately, in most cases there may be a delay in the synchronisation process. We recommend to wait some time till the reservation is correctly synced. However, if the reservations do not synchronise for longer periods, below you can find most popular reasons why it happens and ways to solve it.
PULL sales channel did not send us the reservation
It is a relatively rare situation, when a sales channel do not manage to push the reservation to Rentals United at all. It may however happen due to some internal reason or error.
If the missing reservation comes from a PULL sales channel, contact the Sales Channel Support Team. It is necessary in order to re-push the booking to Rentals United and find out why it was not pushed in the first attempt.
Reservation was made before the property was connected to the sales channel
A more common case when the reservation is not inserted to Rentals United is when it was created in the channel before the connection between Rentals United and the sales channel was established.
For example, it may happen when there was a direct connection between PMS and sales channel. Them you connected to this sales channel via Rentals United. After you log in to Rentals United, you cannot see the reservations made before the connection via Rentals United.
In this case, please import bookings from sales channel. Keep in mind that when connecting to the new sales channel you should import bookings that already exist there to Rentals United. You can find step-by-step instruction for e.g. Booking.com here.
When the reservation was created, there was no active connection between Rentals United and the sales channel
When for some reason the connection between Rentals United and the sales channel was not active at the moment of the booking. It is related to all channel, property, hotel and rate connection status.
