Vrbo: Reservation confirmed in Rentals United, but not visible in Vrbo
It is possible that you have received a confirmed reservation in Rentals United, but it is not visible in the Vrbo dashboard.
If this happens, it means then that you have received an offline booking. Offline bookings are created in Vrbo when Vrbo receives a timeout error while inserting this reservation into Rentals United. Offline bookings are not visible to the client in the Vrbo dashboard, nor to the guest. Also, they do not include any cancellation fee.
This happens because Vrbo needs the Rentals United Booking Response to create a reservation in their system.
When a proper booking response is not received by Vrbo (e.g. due to the timeout error), Vrbo will not create any online booking in their system as well as the guest will not see any confirmation screen or email notification from Vrbo. However, the booking is correctly created on the Rentals United side. So when this booking comes through the BUS, Vrbo reads it for the first time and finally creates the reservation object (but not being visible to the host or the guest).
