Integration overview

Introduction

Escapia have built vacation rental software for 20+ years, so they know what you need to operate more efficiently. With innovation, stability, and reputation they have solutions in accounting, online bookings, housekeeping and maintenance management and more.

Integration model

Your properties in Rentals United will be presented based on the information Escapia shares about your properties. This document outlines how the two systems work together.

• Rentals United retrieves the static content and ARI data from Escapia at predefined times - see Data synchronization.

• Reservations, and cancellationsare supported - see Reservation processing.

Connection limitations

Certain descriptive property data is hard-coded with same value for all properties and all clients.

Note that you will need to add some descriptive property information to your properties in Rentals United platform before they can be connected to sales channels.

Currently, there is no multi-unit connection between Rentals United and Escapia.

Granting Rentals United access to your account

In order to grant Rentals United access to your account data, which may be required to optimally serve the integration with Escapia, you need to perform the following steps.

1. Log into the Escapia dashboard.

2. Go to Admin > Set up > VRBO Software Partner.

3. Click the Manage Partner button for Rentals United.

   

4. Edit permissions for Rentals United.

   Tip: You may allow all permissions, however if they do not want to, all the required ones can be seen in the below screenshots.
