Data synchronization
In order to maintain synchronization between Streamline VRS and Rentals United, ensure that both static content and ARI data are up-to-date. Read further to check which property's data is synchronized with Rentals United.
Static content
Static content (property descriptive content) refers to the type of data which changes infrequently and denotes property descriptive content. In Rentals United, it includes elements like property's basic information, amenities, description, photos or payment methods. Note that some elements of pricing are also shared with Sales Channels as part of the static content.

ARI data
Availability, Rates and Inventory (ARI) data refers to the dynamic content and stands for property availability, as well as rate plans and inventory data. In Rentals United, the ARI data includes elements from Step 5: Price and availability and these are elements like number of available units, changeover days, minimum stay or prices.
-
Step 5: Price and availability: LOS pricing, FSP pricing, Daily price, Extra guest price, Weekend pricing, Occupancy pricing, Discounts, Calendar, Changeover restrictions
Rentals United retrieves the ARI data from Streamline VRS for the defined periods.
-
In case of the availability data, the <dataRange> differs depending on the settings in Streamline VRS. Nonetheless, the <dateRange> element includes the beginDate and endDate that exactly define the availability range for each property. Hence, it is possible that availability for one property will be defined for 170 days and for more than 2 years for another.
-
In case of the pricing data, the <dataRange> differs depending on the seasons in Streamline VRS and follows the same rules as the availability data ranges. However, the limit set by Rentals United for the pricing data range is 400 days from the moment of synchronization.
Below, you can find the time intervals the regular synchronization runs are performed:
-
Availability - every 5 minutes;
-
Prices - every 1 hour;
-
Changeover days - every 1 hour;
-
Minimum stays - every 1 hour.
