Vrbo Guest Reviews

Vrbo accepts that both the host and guest can review the stay first. More importantly, the first reviewer has up to 365 days after the check-out day to start the review process. The second reviewer has only 14 days to respond. If the review period passes, the second reviewer will not be allowed to submit the response anymore.

The review composes of three parts:

  • 1 x guest review - a review from the guest including text, star rating and a category rating

  • 1 x rating - a star rating from the host

  • 1 x host reply - a response from the host to the guest review including only text

Note that there are specific characteristics to the Vrbo flow. You will find all channel-specific requirements and tips here.

 

  1. Go to Guest Planner. You will see a list of reservations made via all the different channels you are connected to. Click the one you are interested in.

  2. Click the relevant reservation and scroll down to the Guest Communication section. Guest Reviews are available only after the reservation has ended and come as separate threads. You will see a notification once you can write a review.

  3. Rate your guest. Click Submit to send it.

  4. Wait till the guest review appears.

  5. If you want to clarify anything, you can still respond to the review without any time limits.
