Arrival instructions

Arrival instructions refers to all the necessary information the guest should be aware of when arriving at the property. The section is a free text field, hence you should include all the details that are worth mentioning for a person arriving for the first time in this location. Consider describing available means of transportation, the public transportation routes in the neighbourhood, temporary road diversions or cut-offs, location of entrance if it is difficult to spot and so on.

For your guests and property safety - do not mention here any sensitive or security information, such as exact directions to the lockbox, entrance passcodes, instructions to exchange keys and so on. Such information should be shared privately, directly with the guest, after they make a booking.

Note: This information will also be passed to the channel and displayed to the guests. Check Step 3: Description to see in which section it will be displayed on Airbnb.
Tip: Rentals United will attempt to send the English version first. If there is no English version, a random one is sent (usually the first available).

 

Pick-up service

Pick-up service section should include detailed information on the transport service you offer to your guests, for example airport transfer.

It will also be passed to the channel and displayed on their website as described in Step 3: Description.

Note: Airbnb provides this information only to confirmed guests.

Tip: Rentals United will attempt to send the English version first.

If there is no English version, we will first attempt to use the same language as we send for Arrival instructions.

If a description in a matching language is not found, we will not send the Pick-up service at all.

 

Normal check-in and check-out times

In the Normal check-in and check-out times settings, it is possible to specify the detailed time ranges when guests can check in or check out without any additional charges.

Normal check-in and check-out times are provided to Airbnb in the 24-hour format.

  • Check-in from: Synchronized.

  • Check-in to: Synchronized only if there is at least 2-hour gap between it and check-in from time.

  • Check-out: Synchronized.

  • Check-in place: Not synchronized.

Example: There are following settings in Rentals United:

  • Check-in from: 14:10

  • Check-in to: 15:30

  • Check-out: 22:30

  • Check-in place: At the apartment

Airbnb receives the following information:

  • Check-in from: 14:10

  • Check-out: 22:30

 

Late check-in and early check-out fees

Late check-in and early check-out fees indicate the extra charges that will be added to the guest's bill if they decide to check-in late or check-out early. It is also possible to precisely indicate the time ranges when specific charges are applied.
