To start advertising on Google Travel, you must first establish a connection between your accounts. This process involves adding Google Travel to your services and configuring your account-level settings through the Connection Wizard.
Establish connection
Follow the steps below to add a specific channel to your account.
Step-by-step:
- Sign in to your Rentals United account.
- Go to the Services tab and select Find Services.
- Type the channel name in the search box.
- Click the
to expand the channel section. - Click Get connected.
The system validates your connection in the background. If you meet the initial requirements, the Connection Wizard launches automatically. If an eligibility error appears, follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the specific requirement before proceeding.
Minimum requirements to connect
- Property name: Must contain at least 1 character
Property type: Google accepts only the following property types
- Aparthotel
- Apartment
- Bed and breakfast
- Boat
- Cabin
- Castle
- Chalet
- Camping
- Condominium
- Cottage
- Guest house
- House
- Lodge
- Resort
- Townhouse
- Vacation home
- Villa
Note: Selecting properties which are "Shared room" and "Hotel" results in an error while creating a new listing in the channel.- Country: Required
- Geo-coordinates: Required
- License number: Required
- Number of bathrooms: At least 1 bathroom
- Description: Required
- Photos: At least 5 photos, maximum size 4096px x 4096px
- Availability: Required
- Redirecting traffic: Rentals United verifies if the property has the URL to their custom website provided. This is applicable only to clients who have their property configured to redirect traffic.
