Switching to multi-unit synchronisation

TRACK allows you to synchronize availability, pricing, and static data for multi-unit properties. To ensure your listings stay accurate across all channels, you must choose between single-unit synchronization or multi-unit synchronization for your connection.

Enable multi-unit synchronization

To enable multi-unit synchronization, reach out to your Key Account Manager in Rentals United or contact the Rentals United Support Team.

Synchronization prerequisites

Before switching your connection type, review the following requirements to avoid data loss or booking issues.

Archiving single units

If you switch to multi-unit synchronization, Rentals United archives your existing single-unit listings. Ensure you have backed up any necessary data before the transition.

Credit card processing

By default, TRACK only validates credit card data within a reservation. If you want TRACK to automatically charge the credit card when a reservation is imported, tell your Rentals United Key Account Manager during the setup process.

Data synchronization scope

Track uses specific endpoints for availability, pricing, and static data to manage multi-unit properties. Most synchronization functions remain the same as the single-unit connection. See here.

Reservation processing

The standard reservation process doesn't change for multi-unit properties. However, TRACK inserts reservations and modifications into the specific unitTypeId provided in the booking details.
