Cancellation penalties
PriceTravel may apply penalty fees for host-cancellations:
10% penalty fee over the reservation value for property-initiated cancellations made more than 30 days before check-in.
25% penalty fee between 30 days and 48 hours before check-in.
Up to a 50% penalty fee within 48 hours before check-in or after check-in.
Channel deducts the penalty fees from the future payouts or offset against pending reservation balances. Additional penalties include reduced visibility or ranking within distribution channels, temporary suspension risk, and additional relocation or guest compensation costs.
