Charging for reservations with White Label Channel Manager

This article explains the process of sharing guest credit card details with property managers using White Label Channel Manager. It also provides troubleshooting steps for when guest credit card details are missing.

Access to credit card data

To ensure your property managers can access the guests' credit card data to make charges, you must provide a security compliance certificate for your PMS and the property manager to our Support Team.

Remaining PCI compliant is essential for receiving credit card data. Compliant businesses receive full guest credit card details within the reservation, allowing direct billing.

Maintain compliance

The PCI compliance certificate remains valid for one year. Provide an updated certificate to Rentals United annually to ensure uninterrupted data access.

Non-compliant businesses

Non-compliant businesses don't receive credit card details and must use alternative charging methods, such as channel-facilitated payments or Stripe payments for White Label.

Guest data scope

The specific guest data provided depends entirely on the booking channel. Certain channels don't share extended guest information. Rentals United can't change or influence these channel-specific policies.
