Selecting cancellation policy for listings published on Despegar

Despegar requires you to use one of the 4 pre-defined cancellation policies for all your properties.

  • Refundable up to 48 hours - full refund up to 48 hours before the arrival
  • Refundable up to 24 hours - full refund up to 24 hours before the arrival
  • Non refundable - no refund, regardless of when the reservation is cancelled
  • Fully refundable - full refund, regardless of when the reservation is cancelled

Step by step:

  1. In Rentals United account, open Channel Settings. Follow the steps here.
  2. Navigate to the Despegar cancellation policy section. 
  3. Select one of the policies available in the dropdown list.
