Adding a promotion to Booking.com

Follow the steps below to create and configure a new promotion for your Booking.com listings.

Step by step:

1. In your Rentals United account, open Property Settings for Booking.com. Follow the steps here.
2. Switch to the Promotions tab.
3. Select the Promotions tab.
4. Click + Add new.
5. Choose the type of promotion to create, and click Next.

6. Enter the promotion details.

   Tip:

   Each promotion requires different configuration details. To understand what to enter in each field, see Understanding Booking.com promotion types and details. For New Property Deal, Booking.com applies fixed details that you can’t adjust. You can only assign the hotels.

7. Click Select rate types to assign the promotion.

8. Select the promotion scope, and click Next.

   • Hotel ID: Applies the promotion to the entire hotel. New rooms or rate plans added in the future are included automatically.
   • Room type ID: Applies the promotion to specific room types. New rate plans for these rooms are included automatically.
   • Rate plan ID: Applies the promotion only to the specific rate plans you select.

   Note:

   Promotions attach only to parent rate plans. Derived child rate plans inherit promotions automatically.

9. Search for and select the relevant IDs in the table, and click Continue. 
10. Review the summary of selected properties, and click Continue. 
11. On the confirmation pop-up, click I understand to add the promotion.
