Once you update property content in Rentals United, you must update the listing in Vrbo. Otherwise, the listing doesn’t display updated information.
Full and partial update
- Partial update - updates specific content areas only.
- Full update - updates all listing content in the channel.
Note:
We recommend using partial updates whenever possible. Full listing content update overwrites all listing information and may accidentally remove or change the information that you manage directly on Vrbo extranet.
Trigger the update
Follow the steps below to trigger a listing content update to Vrbo.
Step by step:
- Log in to your Rentals United account.
- In the side menu, go to the Services tab.
- Select My Services, and navigate to the Airbnb section.
- Click
to unfold the section, and click Property Settings.
- Under relevant Advertiser ID, find the listing you want to update.
- Click
next to the listing and select Update listing content. - Choose the update type.
- Select Update the entire content for this listing to update all listing content.
- Select Update only selected content areas, and check the boxes next to the relevant areas to update.
- Click Update selected.
Partial update areas
You can update the following content areas for Vrbo listings.

- Booking policy, such as Instant book or Request to book
- Accepted credit card provider names, such as Visa
- Cancellation policy

- Minimum guest age

If the partial update areas don’t list the property details you want to update, trigger full update or update the listing in Vrbo extranet.
