Batch content update

Batch content update allows you to synchronise static content changes made in Rentals United to the HRS channel. In this article, you can read how to update multiple properties in a single go. Use the option to update properties in batch if: 

  • you have made changes in Rentals United to multiple properties and want to save time by updating them all in batch
  • you are not interested in automatic update feature and prefer to have full control over the time and frequency of your updates
Important: If you have additional information saved in the channel, be aware that making changes in Rentals United and then triggering a full update will overwrite any additional information you have provided earlier in the channel dashboard! Effects of this action cannot be reversed. To avoid it, we suggest to use the partial update (select areas to be updated) or keep introducing changes in the channel dashboard only.
  1. In Rentals United platform, go to the Services tab.

  2. Select the proper list to search for Sales Channel.

    • Find Services lists the channels you are not yet connected to,

    • My Services lists the channels which you have already established connection with and channels that are in the process of being connected.

  3. Type the Sales Channel name in the search box or scroll down through the list of available channels.

  4. Unfold the Sales Channel section by clicking the Down arrow button.

  5. Click the Property Settings button.

  1. Click the Bulk actions button.

  2. Select Update content for properties with 1 room & 1 rate plan from the dropdown list.

  3. Choose the properties to connect to the channel. You can read about the different ways of filtering and selecting properties here..

  4. Click Next. You will see here the summary of all selected properties. Review the list and check if all properties that you wish to connect are included.

  5. Click Next to proceed.

  6. Choose if you want to perform a full or partial update.

    • If you choose full update, all your property content will be overwritten - read here about the consequences and the scope

    • If you choose partial update, you need to select the areas to update - read here about the area's scope for each HRS channel

  7. Click Update selected and confirm your action by clicking Update listing content.

Your updates are scheduled for the channel and properties enter the Pending status. The properties status will update after all the updates are processed, which should not take more than 24 hours, depending on the size of your inventory.
