Integration overview

Introduction

Smily is a cloud-based vacation rental system that serves as a friend to owners, managers, and agencies during each step of the vacation rental management process. With the help of a robust developer API and the Smily App Center, companies of all stripes - VR marketplaces, rates engines, guest and cleaning services, among others - can build integrations that extend the functionality of Smily.

Integration model

Your properties in Rentals United will be presented based on the information Smily shares about your properties. This document outlines how the two systems work together.

• Rentals United retrieves the static content and ARI data from Smily at predefined times - see Data synchronization

• Reservations, modifications and cancellations are supported - see Reservation processing

Connection limitations

Certain descriptive property data is hard-coded with same value for all properties and all clients.

Note that you will need to add some descriptive property information to your properties in Rentals United platform before they can be connected to sales channels.

Currently, there is no multi-unit connection between Rentals United and Smily.
