Import properties from Airbnb
If you already have a number of properties created in your Airbnb dashboard, there is a quick way to take the snapshot of the data available in Airbnb and import it to Rentals United. You will save a significant amount of time, but note that still some updates will be required. This procedure is available by default only for non-PMS users.
Important notes
Connection
Import of properties does not create any connection between Rentals United and Airbnb. It can be only used to copy the property's content to Rentals United and save time. Each time you select properties to import, you will override the property's content in Rentals United.
Duplicates
If you already created properties in Rentals United and import the same ones from Airbnb, it may result in creating duplicates. To delete a duplicate in Rentals United, see Import properties from Airbnb.
Commission changes
When we import properties from Airbnb, we establish an API connection. In Airbnb, your account is switched from being a manual client to an API client. All API clients in Europe automatically get switched to the Airbnb 15% commission model. In the US, you will have an option to choose between either 3% or 15% commission. Note that it happens every time an importing procedure is used, even when you use the importing feature simply to bring your properties to Rentals United only. If you are a US-based client and you wish to change the commission, please contact Airbnb and request instructions.
Properties excluded from import

Listing type
For now, only properties which have their Listing type set to Entire place in Airbnb can be imported to Rentals United. Rooms and Shared rooms are not imported. See this Airbnb article for more information.

Properties on LOS pricing model
For now, only properties which have Daily price model selected in Airbnb can be imported to Rentals United. Properties on LOS pricing model will not be available to import. You need to create these properties manually in Rentals United.
How to import properties

In Rentals United platform, go to the Properties tab in the main menu and click All properties.

The list of properties opens.

Click the Import from Airbnb button at the top left corner.

A confirmation window pops up. Confirm the conditions and import the properties.

You are redirected to the Airbnb log-in page. Provide your credentials and allow Rentals United to access your Airbnb account.

Select properties to import and click Import properties now.

The property enters the Pending status and the Import fromAirbnb button is greyed out.
In case of failure or import errors, the import process is automatically retried for 3 times:

After 1 minute

After 5 minutes

After 1 hour
Therefore the import process may take a while (even more than 1 hour) and you cannot reset it while running. After the process ends and some properties were not imported, you can try again.

After your properties are imported to Rentals United. You may be still required to add or improve some content. In order to start receiving reservations to Rentals United, follow the instructions in Import properties from Airbnb.
