Arrival information

Arrival information provides guests with essential property manager contact details and instructions for their arrival. Providing this data in your Rentals United account ensures guests know how and when to reach you, creating a smooth check-in experience.

We pass arrival information is passed to Booking.com depending on the selection of different amenities in Step 2: Amenities. If you selected an amenity that describes a different check-in method, we'll overwrite the information from arrival information. Read more here.

Booking.com displays arrival information in their extranet under the following path: Select property > Property > Policies and settings > Policies > Key collection. Contact Booking.com in order to learn how it is passed to the guest.

In some cases, Booking.com uses these details to fill in the company profile details. You can read more about the company profile here.

Normal check-in and check-out times

Defining your normal check-in and check-out times ensures a smooth transition between guests and gives your team enough time to prepare the property. These settings specify the standard time ranges when guests can arrive or depart without incurring additional fees.

API endpoints: 

The following fields synchronize with Booking.com:

  • Check-in from: Synchronized.
  • Check-in to: Synchronized only if the time is different than the check-in-from time. Both values are separated with a dash when passed to Booking.com, for example “15:30-22:00”.
  • Check-out: Synchronized.
  • Check-in place: Not synchronized.

Example: There are following settings in Rentals United:

  • Check-in from: 14:10
  • Check-in to: 15:30
  • Check-out: 22:30
  • Check-in place: At the apartment

Booking.com receives the following information:

  • Check-in: 14:10 - 15:30
  • Check-out: 22:30
