Instant booking process
Hostelworld doesn't quote Rentals United, and inserts new reservation using the details available in the channel.
- A guest enters the reservation page on the Hostelworld website and provides the details of a reservation.
- If the property is available to rent, the guest completes the reservation process on the Hostelworld website by providing their personal data.

Hostelworld inserts a booking to Rentals United.
When you connected several Rentals United properties to a single room type (multi-unit group), reservations assign to a property depending on their moves configuration.
- You receive an email with new reservation details (sent to your "Confirmation email").
Reservation details
When a reservation arrives, theSales Channel provides the standard guest information (such as name, surname, and phone number) along with booking details including the property name, number of guests, stay dates, and price. All of this information is available in Guest Planner > Booking details.

Modifying a reservation (N/A)
Modifications initiated in Hostelworld are not synchronized to Rentals United. If a reservation is modified in Rentals United, the changes will not be synchronized to Hostelworld.
Cancelling a reservation
Cancellations are initiated in Hostelworld and synchronized to Rentals United at the same times as new reservations. If a reservation is cancelled in Rentals United, this information will not be synchronized with Hostelworld.
