Screen & Protect: Protect single reservation

Looking for ways to protect yourself against troublesome guests? Try out this new feature to verify your guests and provide compensation.

Protecting single reservation is a feature powered by our Screen & Protect program. Using it allows you to protect selected reservations without necessity to opt in for the program for all the reservations. You gain all the benefits of the full program and can decide which reservations should be verified and which not. You can also treat this feature as a trial of the whole Screen & Protect program and upgrade only if needed!

  • Reduce the risk of damage and pre-screen your guests before welcoming them in your apartment.

  • In case of negative verification, be prepared for who you are hosting and take necessary steps to avoid damages.

  • In case your guests were verified positively and the damage occurs, report the damage and receive reimbursement up to 50 000 EUR.

 

Remember that protecting single reservation does not stop you from using the full Screen & Protect program. Even if some of your reservations are single-protected, you can still add Screen & Protect to your services any time and enjoy the benefits for all reservations. Prerequisites to use this feature

  • Users have not connected to the Screen & Protect service

  • Properties are in the countries where Screen & Protect is offered - check here

  • Reservations have their check-in date at least for the next day

  • Reservation are in the 'Confirmed' status

 

Workflow

  1. Protect a reservation and verify the guests as described below.

  2. Guests are verified according to guest verification rules.

  3. The verification results are available to you as explained here.

  4. In case the damage occurred, report it following these instructions.

 

Pricing

You will be issued a separate invoice outlying all the Screen & Protect costs incurred from reservations with check-out dates in the previous month.

All confirmed and verified reservations: 7 EUR / per night. Cancelled reservations are not charged.

All reservations where Screen & Protect was denied: 0.25 EUR / per reservation.

60 EUR service fee for every successful incident payment.

 

Protect single reservation

  1. Go to Guest Planner and click on a booking you would like to protect. This booking opens in the Big Card view.

  2. If the reservation is eligible for protection, you will see the Protect this reservation button.

  3. Click the button and read the terms and conditions. Check the checkbox and click Submit.

  4. The confirmation pop-up is displayed and the reservation is sent for verification. You will see the verification result in Guest Planner and will be informed about the verification result via email.

You can repeat the process for as many reservations as you want.
